The Boomerang Button has unique features that employs a dual rotational method of securing itself in the intramedullary cavity giving surgeons reliable control of the system and a secure position to fixate soft tissue to bone.
The buttons come in a variety of drill sizes and lengths. The button’s drill size ranges from 2.6 mm drill to 3.4 mm and the length ranges from 6.63 mm to 12 mm. They may come packaged in a small shelf box or securely located in the button caddy.
A reusable handle that allows for the use of many different instruments with the same durable, and ergonomic handle. Two Quick Connect Handles come in each set so you always have a handle ready. The rubber O-ring allows surgeons to easily secure the suture to the handle when inserting an anchor. Channels in each side of the handle provide a passage way for suture, keeping it out of the way and preventing any unnecessary wear or damage.
The Button Outer Inserter has unique geometry to induce rotation with any of the implants that are part of the Tigon Medical Button System. The handle also features laser lines that correspond to instructions within our surgical technique and geometry at the distal end to facilitate suture passage.
The Button Inner Inserter is designed to work in conjunction with the Button Outer Inserter and the Quick Connect Handle to allow for secure insertion of the Tigon Medical Button System implants. The knurling on the back of the instrument allows for easy threading and unthreading of the buttons.
