The Tomahawk Anchor is a fully cannulated anchor designed for increased blood flow, and it features a unique thread pitch which aids in insertion and maximizes pull out strength. The Tomahawk Anchor is evolving the GreenRepair, so once the anchor is used and all that is left is the inserter, set it back in the GreenRepair box to be sterilized and sent back for a rebate.
The anchor comes in three sizes: the TIG248 has a 4.8mm diameter, the TIG255 has a 5.5mm diameter, and the TIG265 has a 6.5mm diameter. The anchor comes preloaded with tape and suture combinations, so it’s a quick connect and go, optimizing time in the OR.
